Making Natural Inks & Paint
All botanical ink and paint is made by me, a process I find incredible joy in. From growing the plants in my garden, foraging on my daily walks. Keeping my connection to earth alive in my work creates a wholeness in me. I value keeping my materials sustainable and causing little harm. These inks have a life of their own, holding the integrity oof living materials. Working with botanical inks is a unique relationship, each one interacting in their own way, a time for play with me and the plants, I surrender control of the work and allow for this relationship to evolve.
